With 27 cars on hand, TK set the pace in time trials, earning quick time, putting his Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/3H Cattle entry in the second row of his heat race.

Running in second much of the race, Kaeding used a late restart to get the heat win, and earn a berth in the Dash where he started in the seventh spot.

On a track that had pretty good grip most of the night, Kaeding was able to make some moves as he was able to jump into the fourth spot, and start the 30-lap feature event from the second row.

When Ed Entz’s green flag waived, Kaeding moved into the third spot, as he chased after Jason Meyers and his teammate, Kyle Hirst.

Running in the third spot, Kaeding looked to make something happen on the top of turns three and four as both Meyers and Hirst worked the low side of the speedway.

A caution on the 10th lap bunched the field back up, and when the green light’s flashed back on, TK jumped into the second spot, and began pressuring his teammate.

TK and Hirst put on quite the duel for four laps, until a caution again waived. The restart saw Hirst pull away from TK, but with just 11 laps to go, Hirst lost the handle trying to mauever through traffic, and TK took the lead.

With Meyers hot on his tail, TK and him fought for the top spot, and Kaeding slipped to second with just four markers to go.

Taking the white flag, TK had a huge run going into the first turn, and made a text-book move on Meyers to grab the lead and go on to win the race.

“I hope all you fans liked that, because that was a ton of fun from my seat,” Kaeding said on the front stretch. “I have to thank Dennis and Teresa Roth for this opportunity of a lifetime they have given me to have some fun, and I can’t wait to see all of you at the Trophy Cup.”
