URC SPRINT SERIES AT BEDFORD SPEEDWAY FRIDAY, SATURDAY NIGHT AT DELAWARE

The Rislone URC Sprint Series will have a two race weekend on tap with their first stop at the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, PA on Friday night, May 16.   Last year at Bedford, Robbie Stillwaggon was the winner, bringing the crowd to their feet for the final laps then thrilling the crowd with a joyous victory lane and a crowd pleasing post-race interview.  Stillwaggon of Burlington, NJ is a seven time URC  feature winner and the 2012 URC Series Champion.

The following night, Saturday, May 17 the Rislone URC Sprints will make their first stop of the season at the Delaware International Speedway for the Kramer Williamson Memorial.  In August of 2013, Williamson lost his life in a tragic racing accident at the Lincoln Speedway.
To salute and honor one of the most popular drivers of URC, the Kramer Williamson  Memorial will offer an  additional $4,000 in prize money posted by a long list of sponsors.  Each feature position will pay an additional $73 in memory of Kramer Williamson and, the eighth place finisher will pick up an additional $108 in memory of URC’s Midge Miller.  Each feature lap will pay the race leader $73  and lap eight will pay $108 to the race leader.    At halfway, the lap 13 race leader will earn $528.  Heats, the “B” Main, Fast Time and Hard Charger will also earn an additional $73.  In additional, a paid provisional will be added to the starting field.

The following weekend, the URC sprints will celebrate the Memorial Day Weekend by taking part in the Lucky 7 Features Only program at the Grandview Speedway on Sunday night, May 25.   URC will offer two feature events along with the 358  modifieds plus single feature events for the ARDC Midgets, Sportsman and Legend cars.  The seven twenty-five lap feature events will get underway at 7:30 PM.   The rain date for this show is Monday night, May 26 with a 6 PM starting time.
