(Lebanon, IN) Danville, IN native Kyle Hamilton used a combination of strong 5th place run along with the misfortune experienced by several of his competitors to leapfrog to the top of the USSA Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW 2014 point race.  Hamilton piloted the Klatt Enterprises owned beast Chevy to fifth place in the final running order in the 66th running of the Pay Less Little 500 at Anderson Speedway on May 24.

New Castle’s Caleb Armstrong fell to 2nd in the point line-up after his 18th place “Little 5” finish.  2014 USSA Sprint Car Champion Aaron Pierce dropped to fourth in the USSA standings after an early turn four brush with the wall sidelined him in the 500 lap race.

Chris Neuenschwander battled back from an ill handling car throughout practice and 1st round qualifying to finish the Pay Less Little 500 in 6th, moving him up the USSA point ladder to third.

Travis Welpott also improved his point’s position to round out the top 5 in USSA’s Sprint Car Challenge Series annual point race.
