Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Prescott Valley (AZ) Raceway hosts the next USAC Southwest Sprint race, a June 28 event, at a track which has yet to yield a win this year for series point leader R.J. Johnson.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Johnson, of Phoenix, Ariz.. now has 15 career USAC wins in Arizona after winning Saturday night’s “Father’s Day” feature at Canyon Speedway Park in the Michaels entry.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Johnson passed Stevie Sussex on lap 10 and led the rest of the way to beat Mike Martin, Josh Pelkey, Charles Davis Jr. and Matt Rossi.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β The win leaves Johnson with a 27-point lead over Pelkey in the new standings.
