The Rislone URC Sprints will team up with the USCS Sprints for the 6th Annual Carolina Thunder.
Opening night is set for Friday night, October 3 with a stop at the Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC. The USCS vs URC Shoot Out will be a five division racing program that will get underway at 7:30 PM. Be sure to witness the red clay of the Carolina Speedway located at 6335 Union Road Gastonia, NC.
The USCS/URC Shoot Out will continue the following night, Saturday, October 4 with a stop at the popular Cherokee Speedway. This is the track that your Mama warned you about. . . . . The track is huge and always fast. Cherokee Speedway is located at 153 Speedway Road in Gaffney, SC. Gates open at 5 PM with racing getting underway at 7:30 PM.
For the URC Rislone Sprint series, Davie Franek of Wantage, NJ is leading the points and plans on heading. Franek will be joined by Josh Weller in the Eldreth Construction sprinter.
