McDANIEL SWEEPS USCS FALL BRAWL WEEKEND WITH HOMETOWN WIN

Coen McDaniel of Gaffney, SC swept the Palmetto State Fall Brawl Series Weekend with a hometown win in the 25-lap Feature Race on Saturday night for the Hoosier Racing Tire United Sprint Car Series Presented By XC Gear 30th Anniversary Outlaw Thunder Tour at Cherokee Speedway. It was the 15-year-old’s second win of the weekend, and his sixth of the season.

Starks Wins USCS Feature at Cherokee Speedway

Trey Starks of Puyallup, WA made a statement Saturday night in the 20th Anniversary United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour Presented by K&N Filters race at Cherokee Speedway by coming from the 20th and last starting spot to take the lead on lap 18 of the 30 lap race. He then charged the final 12 laps to park his Jeff McCall owned #23 in the www.Rockauto.com USCS Victory Lane after his second straight USCS win. The victory was the 20-year driver’s career fifth USCS feature win.

Carolina Thunder Nationals Finale at Cherokee Washed Out

Due to late afternoon thunderstorms and a Tornado warning near the track, the USCS Carolina Thunder Nationals 2012 Round #2 Finale at Cherokee Speedway on Saturday, September 29th featuring the United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear winged sprint cars and the USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints has been rained out.
