Wheatland, MO — (June 20, 2015) — The Impact Signs, Awnings and Wraps WAR Series presented by Next LED would see thirty one cars compete on Saturday night at Lucas Oil Speedway. When all was said and done, 2014 series champ Chris Parkinson picked up his first win of 2015.

Polesitter Kenny Potter would jump out into the lead as third-starting Derek Hager moved into second immediately and put constant pressure on the Harrisonville, MO veteran driver for the top spot.
Hagar would move by Potter on lap three as Kevin Risley and Parkinson ran third and fourth.
The top four would remain the same until lap six when Parkinson was able to move by Risley into third. A lap later, the Gladstone, MO driver would work his way past Potter and into second.

With Hagar still out front, Parkinson started to apply heavy pressure by lap nine. Over the next handful of laps, the pair would be less than a few car lengths from one another as Hagar continued to hold off Parkinson.

By lap fifteen, Risley had also joined in the fray as Casey Shuman had now moved into fourth.

In heavy lapped traffic, Parkinson was able to move by Hagar on lap nineteen. Over the next few laps, Hagar would continue to mount heavy pressure and by lap twenty three, Hagar made a bold move around a pair of lapped cars in turns three and four looking for the top spot. Parkinson was able to get by the pair low and held the advantage as Hagar slid high in turn four opening some ground for Parkinson. Over the last two laps Hagar would not be able to mount a serious challege as Parkinson would go on to the win in his Ozark Barge and Dock Service/54th Street Grill and Bar/Country Kids Daycare #65. Hagar was second in the Hockett Racing #75. Risley was a solid third in the Risley Trash Service #24K.

John Helm moved up steadily to run fourth in the Helm Racing #12. Rounding out the top five was Josh Stephens in the Summers Farms #09. Shuman was sixth followed by Devon Huff, in his first WAR start of 2015. TJ Muths, Potter, and Riley Kreisel rounded out the top ten.
The Impact Signs, Awnings and Wraps WAR Series presented by Next LED will next be in action on Friday July 3rd at the Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO.

There has also been a schedule change as the race originally scheduled for July 11 at 81 Speedway in Park City, KS has been changed to Saturday August 29th.
