Abilene, TX — (April 22, 2016) — The Sprint Car Bandits (SCB) Series and Abilene Speedway were all pumped up and ready to go for the highly anticipated Series opener this Saturday April 23rd – but now the only ‘pumping’ going on will be draining the track and property after several rounds of heavy thunderstorms.
This rain out now moves the SCB Series opener to Friday, April 29th at Boyd Raceway in Boyd, TX (NW edge of DFW Metroplex).
What was a vision a few months ago is now becoming reality Friday night, April 29th, when the Milestone Electric Sprint Car Bandits (SCB) are set to invade the 1/4 mile bullring of Boyd Raceway located south of Boyd, Texas. At the time of writing, 54 Sprint Car teams from throughout DFW and the surrounding areas have registered their cars and are eligible to compete with the SCB series in 2016.
