Wheatland, MO. (8/22/26) – Ayrton Gennetten would show speed all night to take Round Four of the ‘Road to the Hockett’ at Lucas Oil Speedway with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League seasonal event after leading all twenty-five feature laps to claim his twelfth career league victory.
Launching the night’s battles with thirty entries, Ayrton Gennetten would set the quick qualifying time of 13.613 seconds, with Jamie Ball, Ryan Timms, Joe B. Miller, and Blake Hahn taking the heat racing wins, as Kaleb Johnson would emerge victorious in the semi-feature action.
Establishing the feature field with high-point qualifier Ayrton Gennetten and Miles Paulus lined up on the front row, Gennetten would take the initial on-track advantage, with Ryder McCutcheon, Miles Paulus, Blake Hahn, and Jamie Ball forming the early running top five.
Cruising comfortably out front, Ayrton Gennetten would continue to lead as battles broke out behind the pace-setter, with Blake Hahn, Ryder McCutcheon, Ryan Timms, and Jamie Ball all spending time in the tightly contested runner-up position.
Finding speed all night after leading every feature lap, Ayrton Gennetten would hold court throughout the twenty-five-lap feature event, gaining his initial win of the year in the hard-fought feature.
“I had a good feeling that tonight was going to be a good one,” said Ayrton Gennetten in victory lane. Adding, “Just plain and simple, we started off the year sucking, but I think we are starting to hit our stride as a team and heading in the right direction. Great team effort. I knew I had to focus on doing my job tonight to set us up with confidence going into tomorrow.”
Remaining close, league point leader Ryder McCutcheon would cruise into the runner-up position as Blake Hahn would conclude the podium placements, with ‘Road to the Hockett’ champion Miles Paulus placing fourth and Kyle Bellm rounding out the top five finishers at Lucas Oil Speedway with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League.
