QUINCY, MI (August 22, 2026) – Cale Thomas continued his recent hot streak since joining Brian Grove Motorsports by winning the Chuck Wilson Memorial Saturday night with the NAPA All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline at Butler Motor Speedway, besting a 44-car field for the feature victory.

Thomas stalked Bryce Lucius for a majority of the 31-lap feature event, having a caution flag appear multiple times just as the duo was entering slower traffic. During a restart with eight laps to go Lucius had a mechanical issue on the rear end of his race car, slowing during the restart. Thomas had to take evasive action driving to the inside of Lucius’ car, missing his left rear wheel by inches.

After inheriting the lead Thomas held off a surging Zane Devault for his third victory in five races since joining Grove’s team and second victory of the weekend, backing up his win on Friday at Attica Raceway Park.

Devault, Zeth Sabo, Kalib Henry, and Ricky Peterson Jr. rounded out the top five.

With the fourth-place finish Henry holds a 31-point lead in the point championship for the All Star Circuit of Champions over Thomas.
