GLSS at I-96 postponed until July 31st due to rain

Great Lakes Super Sprints owner, Barry Marlow made the call this evening to cancel their Inaugural race to be held Friday night May 13th at I-96 Speedway. “We have 1/3 of our teams 4 hours away and I wanted them to get a heads up as soon as possible.” says Marlow.

Great Lakes Super Sprints racing series held the first driver membership meeting at Schuler’s Restaurant and Pub on Saturday, February 20th. The inaugural meeting boasted over 40 people representing 16 different sprint car teams.

GLSS launches STEM program for schools and race tracks

Michigan has a passion for racing and one of the fastest growing race classes across the country is Sprint Car racing. Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) intends to grow that passion with the launch of an in-school platform for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education, expanding upon an effort that a national racing series is already promoting online. GLSS Education Program focuses on teaching kids how the principles of the STEM program relate to racing.
