Butler Looks to Shake Up Schedule with Bigger Programs in 2011
Open wheel fans in the Great Lakes region wishing they could see some bigger open wheel programs closer to home should be able to rejoice for 2011. Denny Donaldson is working together with Butler Motor Speedway promoter Bob Garrett to bring back some more visible programs to the speedway including the All Star Circuit of Champions and an early season midget car program.

Can the Sprint Bandits Go National?
The Sprint Bandits are back in action this weekend. Don’t adjust your computer monitors or check the date on your system, it isn’t August. For the first time since 2006 the Bandits will venture outside of their normal time period of the traditional TNT tour to hold races over the next two weekends at Golden Triangle Raceway Park, Houston Raceway Park, Devils Bowl Speedway, and I-30 Speedway.

It’s Just Gas City, and Gas City Rocks!
After driving through clouds dark enough to make myself think, “This has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever done”, the trip was made worthwhile as the rain held off so I could see another instant classic at the Gas City I-69 Speedway. The stellar field of cars put on one whale of a show from the heat races all the way to the feature event.

Gearing Up For a Triple Variety Weekend!
The 2002 season kicked off with a rather auspicious start with openers at Attica Raceway Park and Eldora Speedway getting cancelled due to inclement weather earlier in the week. Both Janet Holbrook and Earl Baltes did a great job forgetting the word out early about the cancellation.
