Bergman earned the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour Hard Charger Award on Saturday after rallying from the B Main to a seventh-place result during the Eagle Motorsports Rock ‘N Roll 50 Presented by MyRacePass main event at Riverside International Speedway.
Bergman claimed his inaugural race at Outlaw Motorsports Park in Wainwright, Okla., last season and he picked up his first career Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour triumph during the series’ last visit at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., in 2012.
Seth Bergman capitalized on that situation last Friday during the ASCS Sooner Region feature at West Siloam Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla., where a lengthy red flag for a crash allowed Bergman’s crew to make the needed changes.
Bergman will make his debut at West Siloam Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla., this Friday before heading to Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Mo., for a race that is co-sanctioned with the ASCS Warrior Region.
Bergman was caught up in a crash on the opening lap of his Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour heat race at the half-mile track.
