CONCORD, NC – Jan. 24, 2011 – The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will invade Delta Bowl Speedway on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, in an event fans won’t forget.

The race in Tunica, Miss., will feature the Outlaws and include Dirt Late Models and Modifieds. With straight-aways at 60-feet wide on the 1/3-mile high-banked oval known as the largest and fastest track in the Mid-South, Delta Bowl Speedway officials are anticipating a thrilling event in the Mississippi valley.

“We are extremely excited to have the Outlaws back in Tunica,” said Delta Bowl Speedway promoter Calvin Shrader. “We’ve been working for two years to get all the details worked out to have them back at Delta Bowl Speedway. They always put on a great show and I know fans from all around the area will be coming down to see them.”

The Outlaws are no stranger Delta Bowl Speedway, having last visited there in 2003 when Greg Hodnett swept the weekend by holding off Danny Lasoski for a preliminary night victory and Steve Kinser in the finale.

Delta Bowl Speedway is located on the east side of Tunica on State Road 3 a mile north of the intersection of Highways 3 and 4. For more information or for tickets call 901-297-3566. For more information about the World of Outlaws, visit worldofoutlaws.com.
