FORLER READY TO TACKLE KNOXVILLE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Inside Line Promotions

– KNOXVILLE, Iowa (April 25) – Knoxville Raceway is big, fast and renowned in the sprint car community as a measuring stick for up-and-coming drivers.

Logan Forler finally gets his shot on Saturday at the ½-mile oval in Knoxville, Iowa.

“It’s a tough place to learn, but I think with a little bit of time, we’ll be pretty good there,” he said.

The bigger the track, the better Forler seems to perform. In his only two other races this season on a ½-mile track, Forler recorded the Hard Charger Award both nights with the World of Outlaws at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

He also put together his two career-best ASCS National Tour finishes at USA Raceway – a big, wide 3/8th-mile track in Tucson, Ariz., in February.

“The bigger ½-mile race tracks are more of my kind of tracks and I feel more comfortable on them,” Forler said. “I think I’m better on the bigger race tracks because I’m smooth on the wheel. I think that I can carry out the corners better on a bigger race track.”
