ASCS Northwest Weekend Washout

ASCS Northwest Region

From Lonnie Wheatley

ALGER, Wash. (May 6, 2011) – Mother Nature completed a sweep of the scheduled ASCS Northwest season opening weekend double, as heavy rains with more in the forecast for Saturday has forced the cancellation of Saturday night’s series debut at Skagit Speedway.

Friday night’s scheduled opener at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA, fell victim to rain early on Friday morning.

The ASCS Northwest Region will now kick off its 2011 campaign next weekend, May 13-14, with a two-night stand at Oregon’s Cottage Grove Speedway.
