Tow Distributing To Present Return of the Thunder at Fairmont Raceway
A little over a week from now the Thunder will return to Fairmont, Minnesota. The inaugural Return of the Thunder Sprint Car show on Saturday night May 19th got even bigger this week when Tow Distributing out of Mankato, Minnesota, signed on to be the presenting sponsor for the first Jackson Speedway Touring Series event at the Fairmont Raceway.
“Obviously, we are delighted to announce Tow Distributing as the title sponsor for this event,” said Adam Adamson of A to Z Promotions. “Tow Distributing has always been a big part of Sprint Car racing in Southern Minnesota and their name has appeared on several race cars, like Sprint racers Bob and Brett Geldner, and they have been very involved in sponsoring events. It is a great fit for Return of the Thunder at Fairmont Raceway.”
Return of the Thunder will be the first Championship Sprint Car race held at the Martin County Fairgrounds half-mile in almost ten years and will feature several of the biggest names from the area, including Gregg Bakker, Skylar Prochaska, Casey Heser and Washington-based racer Seth Bergman.
The JSTS Sprint Car feature will pay $2,000 to winner of the Sprint Car feature event and will also feature non-sanctioned Sport Modifieds and Sport Compacts. The Fairmont Raceway is located on the Martin County Fairgrounds, just south of I-90 exit 99 in Fairmont, Minnesota.
