MUST SEE RACING 60 TO KICK OFF LITTLE 500 WEEK

Anderson, IN – May 22, 2012 – Wednesday night’s ‘ Must See Racing 60 ‘ presented by Sam Pierce Chevrolet at Anderson Speedway will officially kick off Little 500 week. The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series will be competing in their fourth event of the 2012 racing season. The ‘ World’s Fastest Short Track Cars ‘ will be making their first of two appearances at Anderson Speedway in 2012.

Must See Racing teams will find the next five days very hectic to say the least. An open practice is scheduled today from 12-3 P.M. in preparation for tomorrow night’s event. After Wednesday’s event, teams will immediately make preperations for the 64th annual Pay Less Little 500. Must See Racing is also the sanctioning body of the Little 500. Qualifying for the Little 500 will be held Thursday and Friday with the race scheduled for 8 P.M. Saturday night.

The MSRXSS is coming off an event that was held Sunday afternoon at Winchester Speedway. Tampa, FL driver Troy DeCaire picked up the win and $6,000 in a thrilling 30-lap feature. There have been three different winners in as many events in 2012. Tanner Swanson picked up the season opener at Pensacola, FL and Brian Olson was victorious at Mobile, AL.

This will mark the third consecutive year that Must See Racing has sanctioned the ‘ Must See Racing 60 ‘. Jimmy McCune won the 2010 event while Mother Nature wrecked havoc on last years event and postponed the appearance of the series at the speedway until late August.

The event at Anderson Speedway is expected to draw most of the top winged pavement drivers from around the country. Expected entrants include: Jeff Bloom, Jason Blonde, Tanner Swanson, Kody Swanson, Jo Jo Helberg, Jimmy McCune, Troy DeCaire, Jason Cox, and Hank Lower among many others.

On Wednesday, May 23, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Advance Admission is $10 for adults and $15 day of race. Tickets are $4 for kids ages 6-12 with children five and under getting in free.
