The 2016 Myers Racing Engines National Points Series will finish off the “Month of Money” with visits to the shortest track and also one of the longest and fastest tracks the Rebels visit. These two nights of back to back racing will definitely put all of the teams to the test to see if any team can make the right choices in set-ups to conquer them both.

Friday night the URSS Rebels return to one of the driver’s most challenging tracks, the tight ¼ mile oval at the “Bullring Nationals” at Rush County Speedway.  The Friday night payout $1,000 to win – $200 to start will draw the region’s best drivers. Always a driver’s favorite and the tight little ¼ mile semi-banked track have provided the fans some great racing action. Winners at the track have featured both seasoned veterans and surprise newcomers. Jason Martin has two wins including last year’s crown; Jake Bubak, Brian Herbert, Ray Seemann, CJ Johnson, Jon Johnson, Jared Kern and Brandon Fisher have all graced Victory Lane at the Bullring.

Look once again for the URSS to put on a whale of a show as drivers from five states will make their way to “The Funnest ‘Lil Dirt Track in Kansas” to battle it out for bragging rights and the “Bullring Nationals Crown” Joining the URSS Sprint Cars will be the Kansas Antique Racers. Hot laps at 6:30 with racing action starting at 7:00 pm. For more information visit their Facebook site at https://www.facebook.com/Bullring-Nationals-312487462254375/?fref=ts .

Saturday night the Rebels make the trek up north to the “World Famous Belleville Highbanks” as part of the 39th Annual Belleville Midget Nationals. The United Rebel Sprint Series has been a part of the Championship night of racing for the last five years and has produced some of the most exciting side by side racing action on the monstrous sweeping ½ mile oval. The “World’s Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track” track isn’t for the faint of heart as the track which features as much as 23 degrees of banking!  The shape of the track (not a true oval, not really a circle) adds to the intrigue and makes the concentration of the driver the utmost concern. There is rarely time to breathe and each corner is marked with a giant sign denoting which corner you are entering.

Saturdays night’s race features a $2,000 to win – $300.00 to start feature purse. Past winners include Luke Cranston who has tamed the monstrous half mile oval four times along with J.D. Johnson last year and Brian Herbert taking trips to Victory Lane in the past.  You can find out more information including ticket info at http://www.bellevillehighbanks.org/ Ticket window opens at 3pm, Gates open at 5pm, hot laps 6:30pm, racing at 7:30pm.

Be sure to visit the Highbanks Hall of Fame National Midget Auto Racing Museum as well while in Belleville or visit their website at http://highbanks-museum.org/
