ATTICA, Ohio – Heavy rains over night with rains, strong winds and cooler temperatures forecast throughout the day Friday, May 28 have forced Attica Raceway Park to cancel racing on Steinle Chevrolet-Buick of Clyde/Stillwater Metals/Bazell Race Fuels Night.

Attica Raceway Park roars back to life Friday, June 4 on Edward Jones of Clyde-Mike Neill Financial Advisor Night Presented by Integrity Auto & Truck Sales of Bucyrus. It is mid-season championship night and will feature the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products 410 Attica Fremont Championship Series Presented by the Baumann Auto Group, the NAPA of Bryan 305 AFCS Presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales and the Propane/com/Dirt Nerds Podcast UMP Late Models. The night’s racing will award double points as the teams chase the coveted Attica Raceway Park championships.

The points battles at Attica are intense. Lemoore, California’s Cole Macedo leads Trey Jacobs by a mere 11 points with former track champions Stuart Brubaker and DJ Foos just 24 points behind in the Callie’s Performance Products 410 Sprints. Ashland, Ohio’s Ryan Markham looks to add another late model title to his resume by leads former track champion Matt Irey by just 6 points and two time and defending track champion Devin Shiels by 34 markers. Attica’s 2005 and 2019 Fremont Fence 305 track champion Jamie Miller leads defending and five time track champion Paul Weaver by 46 points.

Last year 2020 Attica champion Cap Henry – who is now chasing an All Star title – captured the speedweek win at Attica.,

The UMP Late Models will also be in competition June 11, battling for a $2,000 payday.
