NSL brings 410 sprint car racing back to Des Moines

It’s been sixteen years since 410 sprint cars have roared around the ½-mile Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. Kerry Madsen emerged victorious in the Danny Young Memorial in 1999. This Wednesday night, July 22, the FVP National Sprint League will change that. This huge event is sponsored by Nehring Construction.

Dietrich three for three at SSP

Danny Dietrich of Gettysburg has gone three-for-three this season by taking the 410 Sprint Car victory in the Sunday Night Sprint Car Special present by Shetron Auction Services and Newville Construction at the Susquehanna Speedway Park. Mark Smith from Sunbury collected the URC 360/358 Sprint Car 25-lap Challenge Race. The EMMR Vintage Cars also participated in exhibition hot laps before the features began.
