Brian Brown’s 2011 sprint car season got underway where 2010 ended…at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada. This time, the World of Outlaws were present, and despite two rough qualifying runs and some bad luck, the Grain Valley, Missouri driver was able to surge through the field for a pair of respectable finishes last Wednesday and Thursday.

Tonight’s the night for Brian Brown at the 25th Annual Chili Bowl held at Quik Trip Center’s Tulsa Expo Raceway.

The 2010 season was one of many accomplishments for sprint car driver, Brian Brown, and the FVP #21 racing team. A second 410 track championship at the Knoxville Raceway, sitting on the pole of the Knoxville Nationals and a dozen wins were just a few of the highlights for the driver from Grain Valley, Missouri.

It was a great conclusion to a great season for sprint car driver, Brian Brown, as he brought the 2010 campaign to a close last weekend at the dirt track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Frustration with the draw can grow in a passing points system, especially with the caliber of drivers assembled at last weekend’s Western World at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona.

With 125 sprint cars in a tough field at the Short Track Nationals last weekend in Little Rock, Arkansas, Brian Brown and the FVP #21 team knew it would be tough to come out on top. Though the Grain Valley, Missouri driver’s goal of a win didn’t materialize, he did make the 20-car cut for the finale and found himself going in with a chance at a top five run.

A three-race weekend yielded mixed results for Grain Valley, Missouri’s Brian Brown and the FVP #21 racing team. A trip to the Devil’s Bowl yielded a crash in the prelim and a sixth place finish in the finale. On Sunday, the team came home with a second place finish in Wichita. They’ll take the weekend off in anticipation of the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock, Arkansas, October 28-30.

Brian Brown and the FVP #21 team are looking forward to running the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas this weekend.

Somehow the Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas had escaped Brian Brown’s racing calendar up until last weekend.
