Brian Brown drove his FVP #21 to victory for the twelfth time this season last Friday night at the Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg. The ASCS-Midwest weekend schedule also saw the series head to McCool Junction and Eagle in Nebraska, where the Grain Valley, Missouri driver finished second and fifth.

For the second weekend in a row, Brian Brown and the Brian Brown Racing FVP #21 team picked up an ASCS-Midwest victory in the state of Nebraska. This one came Sunday night at the Boone County Raceway in Albion. The win was definitely welcome after a tough Twin Features night at the Knoxville Raceway on Saturday.

Brian Brown was back on top of the heap at Knoxville Raceway last Saturday, and it came on a special night as well. His grandfather, George Lasoski, was inducted into the Knoxville Raceway during intermission. The win put the Grain Valley, Missouri driver back on top of the point standings as well. This week, he’ll race four times, including a make-up of the World of Outlaws show in Sedalia, two nights with the ASCS-Midwest in Nebraska and back at Knoxville.

A top five finish was not what Brian Brown was looking for after a front row starting spot at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday night. A frustrating weekend all around has the FVP #21 racing team working hard to get things righted for Friday with the World of Outlaws in McCool Junction, Nebraska, and Saturday, back at Knoxville.

Brian Brown will start his assault on another Knoxville Championship Cup Series crown this weekend at the Knoxville Raceway in Iowa. The Grain Valley, Missouri driver was the 2007 track champion, and after finishing a close second in last year’s race, he hopes to climb another rung on the ladder. He’ll start the weekend tonight at the Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg in ASCS-Midwest/WOW action.
