– Splitting ways with the Vertullo Motorsports team last week, Kyle Hirst climbed aboard the Rich Rosser owned No.23r on Saturday night and scored a fifth place finish at a very fast, hooked up Marysville Raceway Park.

With no weekend commitments, Hirst teamed up again with Rich Rosser as the Rosser Motorsports team ventured to the Marysville Raceway Park, a venue both the team and driver have been successful at.

Going out second in time-trials, Hirst timed in second quickest putting him in the third row of the second heat race.

The driver known as ‘KH’ was able to work his way up to a third place finish, earning him a spot in the redraw, where he would ultimately pull the number six pill, and line up for the 25-lap feature event in the third row.

With the track staying in great shape throughout the night, Hirst new he had his work cut out for him, as passing would be extremely tough.

With the green flag in the air, Hirst moved up to the fifth spot right away, but wasn’t able to do much over the next 24-laps.

Trying to go both high and low, the track was too fast to make any moves, and Hirst’s night would end with his sixth consecutive top-five finish.

“Rich and his guys gave me a fast car all night long, but the track was really good all night long and made passing pretty tough,” Hirst explained. “I have to thank (Rich) Rosser for giving me a shot tonight, and congrats to John Bunch on his first win.”

ON TAP: Hirst is now looking for any opportunity over the next few weeks.
