SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Selinsgrove Speedway will present an open wheel doubleheader at 7 p.m. this Saturday, June 4, featuring the United Racing Club 360 sprint cars and the PASS Racesaver 305 sprint cars. Also on the racing card will be the 15th Annual A&A Auto Stores Pro Stock 20 and dual roadrunner features. Track gates will open at 5 p.m.
This Saturday will mark the third appearance of the season by the URC sprint car contingent in a 25-lap feature paying $2,000 to win.
305 sprint car teams will be making their first of two appearances at the Snyder County half-mile oval in a 20-lap feature.
The Pro Stock 20, which was rained out on May 14, is the division’s $1,000-to-win 20-lap championship race. The roadrunners will race a regularly scheduled 12-lap feature plus the April 30 makeup event.
The speedway will feature a special “Friday Night Lights” 410 sprint car race at 8 p.m. Friday, June 10. The 25-lap sprint car feature will pay $3,500 to win. The pro stocks will share the racing card with the 410 sprint cars. Track gates will open at 6 p.m.
On the same weekend, Selinsgrove will host the finale to the Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek Series at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 12. The 40-lap super late model feature will pay $4,000 to win.
The limited late models will share the June 12 racing card with the super late models in a 20-lap feature paying $1,000 to win. The limited late model rules in effect for this race include 358 cubic inch maximum engines and any brand of 11 inch tires. The limited late model weight rule will be 2,350 pounds with driver.
There will be no racing at Selinsgrove Speedway Saturday, June 11.
Selinsgrove Raceway Park will be dark this Friday, June 3. The one-fifth mile track will be in operation this Sunday, June 5, with the first Burris Money Series go kart race at the track this season.
