Schatz named North American 410 poll driver of the year

For the eighth time in his career, Donny Schatz of Fargo, North Dakota, was voted the “Driver of the Year” by the North American 410 Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers. The 2015 Knoxville Nationals winner, Chico Gold Cup Race of Champions winner and World of Outlaws (WoO) champion, earned all twenty-five (25) first-place ballots cast in the year-end poll.

Ohsweken Speedway releases 2016 schedule

The initial version of the 2016 racing schedule for Ohsweken Speedway was officially released on Friday. Racers will hit the track for the first time in 2016 with a Test & Tune Night scheduled for Friday, May 13, while the season concludes with Flat Track Canada motorcycle racing and the final round of the club’s Canadian Championship Race Series on Saturday, September 24.

2016 MSCS schedule released

The 2016 Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series scheduling process was concluded this week and the resulting schedule is ready to release. This season’s schedule will include 18 MSCS sanctioned events to be held at seven different speedways. The schedule includes a variety of purses paying $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $4,000, $5,000, and $10,000 to win! The schedule is well balanced with 3 events each month except August and October.
