Holly, MI — (February 29, 2016) — Brian Gerster hopes to start the 2016 season where he left off last season, with a Must See Racing Sprint Series presented by Engine Pro (MSRSS) victory. Gerster was victorious in the October 4 event at Rockford (IL) Speedway. The event was part of the annual National Short Track Championships. Gerster will be aboard the potent Dick Meyers owned #50m machine. The Fishers, IN driver is the latest entrant for the MSRSS season opening events in the Carolina’s April 15-16.

The series will open up April 15 at Anderson (SC) Motor Speedway and return to Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway the following evening for the second consecutive season. The events are a part of the inaugural American Sprint Cup miniseries.

Gerster has played a big part in the history of Must See Racing. He is the all-time feature winner with 14 career victories and has 21 career Fast Times. In addition, he is the 2013 and 2014 series champion.
“Our plan is very similar to what we have done in the past” explains Gerster.”We will see where we are at after the Carolina trip. We want to run the American Sprint Cup races and the Must See races that are close to home. We’re exploring opportunities to find funding to run more races than we did last season”.

When asked about his thoughts on the 2016 MSRSS schedule Gerster gave some positive insight. “I think it’s a really good schedule. It features a lot of two-night events and some good purses. Its spread out good and stretches the season out longer. It keeps us busy and gives us weekends off at the same time. I’m looking forward to the MAVTV races too”.

In addition to Must See events, Gerster will have a busy season. He will be running a handful of 305 winged dirt sprint car events at Bloomington (IN) Speedway as well as the Must See Racing televised 68th Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW-GM competing in the No. 27 entry with sponsorship from Winchester Furniture Showroom, Jet-Star, Image Express, Armstrong Garage Doors, RAM Engineering, Landrum Performance Springs and Simpson Race Products.
