Rilat wins Summer Nationals opener at Skagit Speedway

The self proclaimed “Mr. Prelim Night” earned his moniker once again, as Travis Rilat took the preliminary night feature win at the Bob’s Burgers & Brew Summer Nationals at Skagit Speedway. Rilat came from 12th to take the feature win. Brandon Berg joined Rilat in victory lane with a win in the Outlaw Tuner division.

Colton Heath wins at Skagit

With the biggest crowd of the year on hand to cheer him on, Colton Heath won for the third time on the 2015 season in the 360 division on Mid Season Championship Night at Skagit Speedway sponsored by Les Schwab Tire Centers of Skagit County. Joining Colton in victory lane were Jason Solwold, Lance Sargent, Kevin Smith and Freddie Vela.

Jason Solwold wins the 44th Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup

It has been a long time coming for Jason Solwold to stand in Victory Lane at the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by Jack in the Box, and in 2015 the Burlington, Wash. driver added his name to the history books as the winner of the 44th annual event, leading all 40 laps against the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network to claim the night’s $15,000 bounty.

First win for Margeson at Skagit Speedway

The seventh round of Dwayne Lane’s Family of Auto Centers Racing Series at Skagit Speedway was fun and fast, with the checkered flag flying on the night’s final main event at 859pm. Evan Margeson stood tall in victory lane when the dust settled on the night, scoring his first win at Skagit Speedway in only his second career appearance at the track in the 360 class. Joining Evan in victory lane were Kelsey Carpenter in the Northwest Focus Midget Series and Freddie Vela with the Outlaw Tuners.
