The veteran from Dover, Mo., capitalized on a good break on Friday, but was slowed by a wind storm on Saturday at the ASCS National Tour event at Southern New Mexico Speedway.
The 18-year-old from Lake Stevens, Wash., began his heat race fifth each night and he finished fourth, which forced him to run a B Main both times at the ASCS National Tour event at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M.
However, finishing where he started wasn’t an easy task for the 18-year-old from Lake Stevens, Wash., who dropped to the back in both main events because of on-track incidents at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark.
After sitting out the past two weekends following a concussion at the 18th annual Trophy Cup at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., on Oct. 22, the 15-year-old from Puyallup, Wash., has a clean bill of health and is highly anticipating this weekend’s ASCS National Tour event at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M.
“I feel like I left one on the table,” the Liberal, Kan., native said. “I feel like I gave another one away.”
