Waynesfield Raceway Park officials have decided to move all times back 1/2 hour for this Saturday’s show (7/23). With the heat index being high this weekend we are making every effort to get the bulk of the show under the lights rather than under the sun.

Grandstand gates open: 5:30
Hot Laps 6:30
Racing starts: 7:30

WAYNESFIELD, Ohio (7/21/16) – The mid-season break comes to end as the open wheel divisions return to Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio this Saturday night July 23rd. The K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders makes their final appearance of the season headlining Saturdays program. Randy Hannagan currently holds Waynesfield bragging rights with two victories in NRA action this season. Jared Horstman broke Hannagan’s winning streak a few weeks ago by taking the Summer Sprint Sizzler on independence day weekend. The Satellite Connections Non Wing Sprints and the Quest Federal Credit Union UMP Modifieds are also scheduled for a Saturday night of nothing but open wheel racing.
Pit side gates swing open at 4PM; grandstands at 5PM. Hot laps get underway at 6PM with the first heat race of the night going green just after 7PM. Adult general admission for the Open Wheel Showdown is just $12. Young adults aged 11-15 years of age are admitted for $6 with everyone under the age of 10 admitted for FREE. Pit admittance is just $25.
