Four USAC Mopar .25 Midget events will serve as qualifying events for the 3rd Annual “Battle at the Brickyard,” scheduled July 5-9 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The opener is the “Eastern District Qualifier” April 8-10 at the NCQMA oval at Salisbury, N.C. The “Western District Qualifier” is slated May 6-8 at the Orange Show in San Bernardino, Calif. The “Midwest District Qualifier” unfolds May 20-22 at the Mac-O-Chee oval in West Liberty, Ohio and the “New England Qualifier” will be June 11-12 at “Little T” in Thompson, Conn.

Eligibility to compete in the “Battle at the Brickyard” will be open only to those participants who compete in one of these four “qualifiers.”

The “Battle at the Brickyard” occurs on a course constructed in the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the shadow of the famed IMS Pagoda and included over 250 participants in 16 different racing classes.

“The Battle at the Brickyard” is a signature event for youngsters,” says USAC Developmental Racing Director James Spink. “A victory at IMS is certainly the highlight of not only the year but in many cases a driver’s career. We are fortunate to be a part of this spectacular event and look forward to the competition for spots in this prestigious event.”
