ROCHESTER, NY, (May 23, 2012)- In this the 10th season of Patriot Sprint Tour action, the series has its first doubleheader weekend at the first two tracks to ever hold a Patriot race back in 2003.

This Saturday the PST makes their only stop at the Stateline Speedway before travelling down the road to Eriez Speedway for the Sunday Night of Memorial Weekend tradition.  This is second year in a row these two events have been paired together for this weekend.

The event on Saturday at Stateline will tie the 1/3-mile oval near Jamestown, NY with Canandaigua Speedway as the third-most visited track in series history.  Up until 2010, no driver had ever repeated, but in the last two races, Bryan Howland and Jared Zimbardi, the last two PST Champions, have gone to Victory Lane at Stateline en route to the season title.

The Sunday Night trip to Eriez will be the fifth straight year the series invades the 1/3-mile oval on Memorial Day Weekend.  No driver has won multiple PST races at Eriez.

Bryan Howland leads the PST Points after three races.  Chuck Hebing is second while Scott Kreutter, a 2011 Eriez winner, is an impressive third in the standings.  Meanwhile, Jared Zimbardi stands 10th overall and will look to make a big jump this weekend.

2004 Series Champion George Suprick has won at each track, including at Eriez last year, and will be on hand this weekend.  Tim Kelly, who scored his only PST win at Eriez in 2010, was a solid fourth this past weekend and should be stout at well.

Among the drivers that have not won at those tracks but could definitely factor in to the mix includes Don Adamczyk, who has nine straight top-10s at Stateline, a streak that includes five top fives.  The “Williamsville Warrior” has only finished outside the top 10 once at Eriez and was fourth in both races last year.

Todd Hoddick is coming off his best career PST finish, while defending Rookie of the Year Steve Collins is always a threat to win.  Tommy Wickham will run his first race at Stateline since 2005 but has been a contender all spring, while his cousin Dave Wickham always runs well at each track.

Also expected to factor in to the mix this weekend include Brandan Warner, Bruce DeWick, Clint Ide, Steve Hutchinson Jr., Derek Jonathan, Jay Groves, Gary Edwards and Mitch Brown.
