PEORIA, Ariz. (May 30, 2012) – A schedule change finds the CSP Challenge Cup Sprint Cars now taking part in the next scheduled event at Canyon Speedway Park, the 31st Anniversary event next Saturday, June 9.
Originally set to return to CSP one week later on the 16th, the CSP Challenge Cup Sprint Cars have been added to the June 9 anniversary event in place of the following weekend. The CSP Challenge Cup Sprint Cars will now join the IMCA Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Southwest Mod Lites and Bombers on the 9th, with the ASCS2 Micro Sprint Cars dropped from the card.
The CSP Challenge Cup Sprint Cars will not be in action on June 16.
The 31st Anniversary event at Canyon Speedway Park will feature added money to win in several classes, including $750 in the IMCA Modified ranks, $500 to win in CSP Challenge Cup Sprint Cars, $500 to win in Pure Stocks and $200 to win in Bombers.
Tickets to Canyon Speedway Park’s 31st Anniversary event on June 9 are just $15 for adults, with a $2 discount for Military, Seniors and Students. Children ages 7-12 are $6, with children 6 and under admitted free. VIP passes are available each night for $20.
