WEST COAST SPRINTS AT HANFORD AUGUST 4

Bud Kaeding’s lead over Ryan Bernal in the 2012 USAC West Coast Sprint Car series stands at 66 points going into the “Jim Evett Memorial” August 4 at Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. Bud finished 12th and Ryan third in last Saturday’s “Doug Fort Memorial” at Santa Maria (Calif.) Speedway.

Cory Kruseman of Ventura, Calif. led all but the first lap at Santa Maria, beating Danny Sheridan, Bernal, Danny Faria Jr. and Brody Roa. Justyne Hamblin led the opening lap.

The Santa Maria event was part of the 2012 “Grudge Series” co-sanctioned by the ASCS Canyon region.
