After taking the third spot from Fehr, Bayston set out on a relentless pursuit of Galloway. For much of the last third of the race Bayston and Galloway raced within inches of each other. On the last lap, Bayston squeezed by Galloway exiting turn four to earn the second spot by mere 0.021 advantage.
Jessica bean improved on her eighth place starting spot to complete the top five. Earlier in the day, Bean finished 11th in a Skip Barber Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH.
