Spencer Bayston Poised to Earn Mel Kenyon Midget Series Title

(Lebanon, IN)  When Spencer Bayston takes the green flag in the Saturday October 5 Mel Kenyon Midget Series race at Anderson Speedway, he will officially become the 2013 Series Champion.  Bayston has had a dream season in ’13 taking the checkers a record nine times in one season.  Bayston’s last win came on August 28 at US 24 Speedway.

With two wins, Cordy Horn sit in a solid second place.  Travis Young and Clayton Gaines hold the 3rd and 4th spots.  The two drivers are engaged in the Mel Kenyon Midget Series tightest points race, separated by only 20 points.

 

On Saturday October 5 the USSA Mel Kenyon Midget Series and the USSA Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW will join Anderson Speedway fan favorites McGunegill Late Models, NASH FM Thundercars, Front Wheel Drive Oval, Front Wheel Drive Figure 8, Thunder Roadsters, Street Stocks and the Legend Cars for a full day and night or racing excitement.  Gates for the UAW Presents American Cancer Society Making Strides to End Breast Cancer “Paint the Night Pink” Championship Night open at 2:00 PM with racing action starting at 5:00
