SCHATZ, STROUP WINNERS IN J&J’S

McKENZIE, TN – A pair of J&J Auto Racing drivers found victory lane last Friday night to continue an outstanding summer on North American dirt tracks. Donny Schatz earned his 199th career World of Outlaws A-Feature while Dustin Stroup won his first sprint car feature of his career.
WORLD OF OUTLAWS
Donny Schatz earned his 26th World of Outlaws A-Feature of 2015 last Friday night at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta. Schatz wheeled Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) No. 15 Bad Boy Buggies/Chevrolet Performance J&J and showed patience and perserverence en route to the win. He took the lead on lap 24 and led the final six laps to score his third consecutive WoO win and fourth straight at Castrol.
Schatz returned on Saturday night and charged from the back of the field following a lap 15 red and finished second to continue his streak of podium finishes with the Outlaws. He leads the championship standings by 420 points with 21 races remaining.
ATTICA RACEWAY PARK
Dustin Stroup led a one-two J&J finish Friday at Attica Raceway Park scoring his first ever Feature win in the Foster’s Auto Body 305 Sprints. Stroup took the lead in the No. 10x J&J on lap 19 and raced away from the field during the final six laps to take the win ahead Jordan Ryan No. 5 J&J.
“I have to thank Kenny Meggit first off for letting me use this motor,” said the winner. “If it wasn’t for him I’d be sitting at home doing nothing.”
