USSA Cancels July 4th Shady Bowl event
Officials of the United States Speed Association have announced that they are canceling the Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW race at Shady Bowl Speedway.

USSA Kenyon Midgets featured during Little 500 week
Dameron Taylor leads the Mel Kenyon Midget Series back onto the high banks of Anderson Speedway this Wednesday evening for the first race of the 67th Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW-GM week. Taylor grabbed the USSA Midget Series point lead on May 9 at US 24 Speedway with a strong 2nd place finish on the dirt bull ring.

Kriegbaum earns second Mel Kenyon Midget Series career victory at US 24
In a race marred by 13 caution periods, Kent Kriegbaum kept his head and worked the race track and his fellow competitors to earn his second career victory in the Mel Kenyon Midget Series. Saturday’s event was halted for nearly two hours by lingering rain.

Mel Kenyon Midget Series moves to dirt at US 24 Speedway
The USSA Mel Kenyon Midget Series drivers will make their first appearance of 2015 on dirt this Saturday night at US 24 Speedway. The 30 lap feature event will also be current point leader Kyle O’Gara’s first dirt race in a Kenyon Midget. O’Gara has won the series’ opening rounds at Anderson Speedway and the Indianapolis Speedrome.

Neuenschwander ready to defend USSA title
The 2014 Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW Champion Chris Neuenschwander is set to begin his title defense at the 15th Annual Glen Niebel Classic 100 at Anderson Speedway, Saturday April 25. Neuenschwander’s battle for the title went down to the wire last year when he clinched the deal in the last race of the season at Anderson Speedway.

Fifth annual Glen Niebel Classic gets a new day and look
For its first 14 years the Glen Niebel Classic 100 has been held on Sunday afternoon at Anderson Speedway. When the green flag drops on the 15th Annual Glen Niebel Classic and the Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW season opener, it will happen on Saturday night April 25.

Mel Kenyon midget series sophomores set to impact the series
In many sports, competitors fear the “sophomore slump” as they start their second season. Second year drivers in the Mel Kenyon Midget Series seem to be the exception to the “sophomore slump” rule. Saturday marks the opening of USSA’s 6th racing season
When the pit gates open of Saturday afternoon at Anderson Speedway, the United States Speed Association will begin its sixth season of competition. Born in 2010, the Indiana based sanctioning body, has grown from the depths of the worst economy since the Great Depression to preparing to stage a 24 event schedule in 2015. Once again in 2015, USSA will feature two divisions of racing, the Mel Kenyon Midget Series and the Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW.

2015 USSA rookies to compete for the Simpson World award
