Jim Hurtubise Classic Postponed to October 15th

Friday night’s “Jim Hurtubise Classic” at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship has been postponed to Saturday night, October 15 due to heavy afternoon rains which put a damper on racing at the ½-mile dirt oval.

The “Jim Hurtubise Classic” and the “Haubstadt Hustler” are on tap in Indiana this week for the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship. Tri-State Speedway Feature $10,000 to Win Haubstadt Hustler on Saturday

The remainder of the Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series schedule is set to play out at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN. Just two races remain on the racing calendar. Next up is the largest paying event of the season.

The Haubstadt Hustler there on Saturday night September 17th will pay $10,000 to the winner of the big 40 lap sprint car feature.

Tornado and Storm Postpones Wednesday Event at Kokomo

Thunderstorms that generated multiple tornadoes forced USAC and Kokomo Speedway officials to postpone Wednesday night’s non-wing sprint car program. Heavy storms forced officials to clear the stands during the Bryan Clauson tribute during the day. The tribute was completed once the storm had cleared. Kokomo officials announced the rain date for the event is scheduled for September 2nd.
