Robbie Farr won back-to-back Performance Wholesale World Series Sprintcars rounds at the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway Saturday night.

American Jason Sides led the early stages of the 30-lap feature event on a dry slick track, which was very different to what was served up the night before. It only took 3 laps before Farr made the move while behind Ian Madsen was having a very eventful race.

He lined up fourth on the grid and dropped to fifth at the start of the main event behind the leading duo and a squabbling Mitchell Dumesny and Cameron Gessner. On lap 11 he fell to sixth behind Max Dumesny but came back 2 laps later to take both Max and Gessner. Not long after he passed Mitchell Dumensy and managed to hold on to third for the remainder of the race.

American Jason Johnson charged from eighth to finish fourth from Gessner, Max Dumesny, Jeremy Cross, Mitchell Dumesny who fell to eighth, points leader Brooke Tatnell and Kerry Madsen who rounded out the top ten.

Farr recorded his fastest lap of the race just after passing Sides and moved up into second on the points table, 32 behind Tatnell. There was some exciting racing as all eighteen drivers greeted the chequered flag, as did all competitors in the 4 remaining heats races as well as the B-Main. In fact only Murray Gibson and Daniel Needham recorded a DNF (Did Not Finish) in the C-Main.

PWWSS officials had a race of their own, trying to beat the rain that was showing on the radar so the Vortex Top 8 Shootout was dropped much to the disgust of the Krikke Motorsport outfit. They qualified and sixth and badly wanted the chance to make up a few positions prior to the A-Main.
