SARVER, PA (July 6, 2010) Now that the dust has settled on another exceedingly successful Firecracker 100 weekend, it’s time to turn our attention to the bigger brother of the World of Outlaws family; the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series!

Yes, in just two short weeks, the Greatest Show on Dirt comes to the Action Track for the 19th installment of the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup. Scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, the Silver Cup will once again feature the thrilling Twin 30s format that debuted last season to rave reviews.

Q: Are there really two complete features in one night?

A: Yes, Absolutely YES! The Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX Twin 30s at Lernerville Speedway is the only place in the country, nay the world, to see two World of Outlaws Features on the same night!

Q: What is the “Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX”?

A: Originally created to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Lernerville Speedway, after his passing, the event became a Memorial in tribute to the man who help create and make the Action Track one of the finest racing facilities in the country!

Over the past 19 years, the Silver Cup has become one of the biggest events in 410 Sprint Car racing and continues to be the highest-paying single day show on the World of Outlaws circuit!

Tuesday, July 20 will be a complete World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series show; time trials, heat races, Last Chance Showdown, dash and a $15,000-to-win, 30-lap feature. But the fun won’t stop there! After the first feature is complete, the lead lap cars will be inverted and they’ll go for round two with ANOTHER $15,000-to-win, 30-lap feature!

The Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX Twin 30s at Lernerville Speedway is the only place to see two World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series features in one night! Already one of the Crown Jewels of 410 Sprint Car Racing, the Twin 30s have made the Silver Cup an absolute “Don’t Miss” event!

Q: Is reserved seating available?

A: Yes! The majority of the main grandstand seats are designated as reserved. Seats available for purchase may be reviewed in real time online at https://dirtcar.ticketforce.com or by clicking the “Buy Tickets” icon on the front page of www.Lernerville.com.

Q: How much are advance tickets?

A: Advance Reserved seats are $35 for adults and $31 for kids 17 & under. As always, kids 10 & under are admitted FREE into General Admission.

Advance Reserved tickets include a FREE pit pass upgrade! This offer expires on Monday, July 19.

Q: Will I still be able to purchase tickets on the day(s) of the event(s)?

A: Yes, Lernerville is blessed with many great seats! And while the Advance Reserve Ticket(s) offer expires on July 19, the “Day of Show” price will be the same, but does not include a free pit pass upgrade! Again, the Silver Cup at Lernerville Speedway is the only time and only place to see two World of Outlaws Features on the same night!

Q: Can I purchase pit passes in advance?

A: Eligibility for the valuable insurance benefits and money-saving discounts offered to DIRTcar Members are verified in person therefore pit passes are sold day of show only. Pit passes must be purchased in person at the Pit Window located outside of the main entrance to the pit area. Once there, you will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability and will be issued a wristband.

Q: How much are pit passes?

A: Please note that pit passes do not guarantee a seat in the frontstretch grandstand!

Q: What is the age limit for the pit area?

A: There is not an age limit for the pit area at this event. Minors aged 17 and younger must submit a fully-executed minor “Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement/Minor’s Assumption of Risk and Release and Waiver of Liability.” These will be available at the Pit Ticket Windows.

Q: Will I be able to upgrade my “Day of Show” reserved ticket to include a pit pass?

A: Yes. Pit pass upgrades will be $10 for adults.

Q: How do I get tickets?

A: Log on to www.Lernerville.com and click the “Buy Tickets” icon, call the Lernerville Speedway office during normal business hours at (724) 353-1511, or at Lernerville Speedway on race day. Tickets purchased prior to Wednesday, June 2, 2010 will be mailed via the United States Postal Service. Tickets purchased after this date will be held at Lernerville Speedway’s Will Call window for pick up beginning Wednesday, June 23.

Q: What is the schedule of events?

A: The Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup is a full World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event, complete with time trials, heats, Last Chance Showdowns, dash and two $15,000-to-win 30-lap Features. Again, this is the only time all year and the only track in the country to see two World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Features in the same night!!

Q: Are coolers permitted?

A: Small coolers are permitted at Lernerville Speedway, with no glass containers. Coolers must be “Personal” size only. No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the speedway grounds. Alcohol must be purchased on site or left at your camp site.

Q: Is camping available?

A: Absolutely! In fact, we have just released 50 reserved camping spots near the pits for just $45. The 20×50 spots will fill up quick, so call the speedway office today (724) 353-1511 to reserve yours today! We are also selling six Premier Camping Spots in the newly renovated turn one camping area for just $100. This camping area provides some of the best vantage points of the 4/10-mile Action Track!

Q: Will the pits be open after the races?

A: Yes, the pits will open after the completion of all on-track activity Saturday Night so the fans in the stands can see the cars and stars up close and in person!

Q: What are the tire rules?

A: The national 410 Sprint Car Goodyear tire rule will be in effect with Goodyears required on the back two corners of the car!

Q: What is the Purse?

A: The Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XIX continues to be the highest paying single day show on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series grueling schedule. Each 30-lap Silver Cup feature will pay $15,000-to-win for a total of $30,000 to the winner(s).

Q: What is the procedure for requesting media credentials?

A: Submit in writing at least one week prior to the event. Credential requests must be on the media outlet letterhead and signed by the assigning editor. Credential requests must be submitted to Eric Westendorf via email (ewestendorf@dirtcar.com).

A: Lernerville Speedway is easy to find along Route 356 in Sarver, PA. The speedway is a short trip from any direction; the PA Turnpike and Route 28 North from Pittsburgh, Interstate 79 & PA Turnpike East from Cranberry Township, and Routes 8 & 422. Lernerville Speedway is located at 313 N.Pike Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
