Crystal Motor Speedway will host the Great Lakes Nationals Saturday September 18th. This Race will also be the MTS Sprint series 2010 Championship race. Steve Irwin is looking to lock up his 3rd MTS Championship Saturday as he goes onto the race with a hefty 169 point advantage over Chuck Wilson. Tim Evilsizers Consistent races throughout the year set him 16 points behind Wilson in 3rd place.With 2 feature wins this year the 2008 MTS champ Mike Galajda sits in 4th place. Mark Irwin rounds out the top five 18 points behind Galajda.
Early this year Mike Miller from Wapakoneta OH took the feature at crystal wile Joe Bares won Championship night in 2009. Chuck Wilson is still looking for his first feature win of 2010 as is Tim Evilsizer. Other heavy hitters are expected to upset the MTS regulars as they do battle at the Crystal Motor Speedway.
