SYRACUSE, NY – It’s a partnership that is now entering the seventh consecutive season, Car Mate Trailers, Inc. from Leeper, Pa. is back to sponsor every heat race event with the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS). Once again, the winner of the 10 lap qualifying event will take home $25 cash for their efforts.
Car Mate has been a staunch supporter with ESS for many years, along with the heat race sponsorship, the ESS merchandise and also the 24ft equipment hauling trailer is from Car Mate as well. Several ESS teams bring their wing sprint cars in trailers built by the company that prides itself in top craftsmanship for over 27 years.
Each ten lap heat event qualifies cars for the nights 25 lap A-Main. While each winner gets the cash award from Car Mate it also qualifies that driver for the nightly Cobra Coaches Dash Event.
With over 27 years in the cargo, equipment, and utility trailer manufacturing industry, Car Mate is one of the oldest and most established manufacturers in the industry. In recent years, many changes have taken place to increase productivity. The weld shop was doubled in size to 24,000 square feet. A 10,000 square foot addition was added to the cargo shop to streamline cargo production lines. Our production, warehouse and office space now account for over 110,000 square feet. Car Mate also acquired an additional 30 acres of property bordering our existing 22 acre manufacturing facility. This acreage will assist with finished goods storage waiting for shipment and allow for future expansion of operations.
The 28th Anniversary season schedule for the Lucas Oil Tour is near completion and will be release in the upcoming weeks. The ESS stars such as Poirier, Barger, Yonge, Hebing, Kaszubinski, Cook, Parent, Ward Jr., Wickham, Stelter, McDonald, Jones, Donath, Barney, Rand, Cain, Sparks, Tanner, Gosselin, Russell, Zemcik and many more are ready to throw some mud in your face.
