A forecast of 90% rain forced  the postponement of URC’s only visit to the Big Diamond Raceway set for tonight, April 25.    At this time an alternative or make-up date may not be possible due to an already heavy Big Diamond Raceway schedule the balance of the year.

For the Rislone URC Sprint Series, they will return to action on Saturday night, May 10 at the Selinsgrove Speedway with the 9th running of the Jack Gunn Memorial paying a hefty $3,500 to win.

In the three previous URC events of 2014, Johnny, Bridges, Lance Moss and Mark Smith scored the victories.   The first two events of the season were part of URC’s Carolina’s Opening Weekend, both of those events were non-point races.    On Saturday night, April 19 Mark Smith and the Mach1 Chassis sprinter led all twenty-five laps to take the victory uncontested in his ride to victory lane.

Following the Selinsgrove May 10 event, URC will be head to the Bedford Speedway in Western Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 16  followed by a Saturday night, May 17 stop at the Delaware International Speedway for a Kramer Williamson Memorial race offering loads of additional money to the competitors.  For more information on the Kramer Williamson Memorial, please visit the URC website at :  www.urcsprints .com and check out the bonus payout on that night.
