The Short Track Nationals has long been a coveted crown of the southern Sprint Car scene. The race launched in 1988 at Little Rock, AR’s I-30 Speedway. The first podium featured a legendary trio, with Steve Kinser taking the win over Sammy Swindell and Bobby Davis Jr.
The witching hour has arrived in the 2026 A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints season. Racing will draw to a close Friday and Saturday night in the two-night $4000-to-win Hoag Memorial, with Friday featuring a non-winners event and Saturday featuring a full day of racing.
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series is set to debut in a big way at Texarkana 67 Speedway. Two huge events are packed into one weekend (Oct. 23-24) as The Greatest Show on Dirt is ready to debut at the dirt track built on the Arkansas side of the city that bridges Texas and Arkansas.
A revision has been made for Friday night’s non-winners show as part of the Hoag Memorial at Outlaw Speedway. Not only will the winner take home $250, but the top two drivers will also be eligible to redraw for Saturday’s Elab Smokers Boutique Dash.
The season finale for the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints will have to wait one more week. Track management has postponed this weekend’s Hoag Memorial to Oct. 23-24 due to weather.
