From Southern New Mexico Speedway
Las Cruces, NM – The Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico is well known for its pair of $10,000 to win Open Wheel Modified shows; but a high paying show for Sprint Cars is something new. If you look at the different classes of Wing Sprint Cars, the 410’s have Knoxville, the 360’s Little Rock, but what about the 305’s? Well the 5/16 clay oval in southern New Mexico is about to give the 305 Sprint Car world a place to call its own with the inaugural Southwest 305 Sprint Car Shootout happening March 19-20, 2010.
With a top prize of $5,000, the nearly 30 car field that makes up the local Renegade Sprint Car Series is already drooling with anticipation but all challengers are welcome as Las Cruces sits just right on the map to bring drivers from Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Arizona, and beyond.
