Tulare, CA – February 23, 2010…The Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway is pleased to announce the signing of a new series sponsor as the track and Central Valley based Groppetti Automotive will partner together for the 2010 racing season. Groppetti Automotive will join other series sponsors at the track including Sequoia Beverage and Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino.
With the new marketing partnership the 1/3 mile clay oval will now be known as “Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway” and both parties are extremely happy to join forces. “To be able to sign a sponsor like this is really great for the track,” said Don Sharp, assistant promoter of Thunderbowl Raceway. “We’re really excited and thrilled to have Groppetti Automotive be a part of the Thunderbowl family this season.”
Groppetti Automotive owner Don Groppetti also shared many of the same thoughts. “I am very excited to be associated with Thunderbowl Raceway and sprint car racing and this opportunity will allow us to showcase both our Ford and GMC brands to race fans in Tulare County,” he said. “The Thunderbowl has a reputation in Tulare and Kings County as a top notch venue and we felt this was the perfect opportunity to showcase our top notch vehicles.”
