From Waynesfield
May 25, 2010
The 1st Annual Memorial Classic at Waynesfield Raceway Park became a lot bigger earlier today when it was announced that the winners share of the purse for the NRA was increased to $2000 to win, thanks to sponsorship from Block Insurance Agency in Waynesfield, Ohio. Now the show has become even bigger with the announcement today that the ASCS/Sprints On Dirt will now co-sanction the event.
This means that in addition to the cars and stars of the NRA, the talented drivers of the Michigan based ASCS/SOD series will also invade the high banks of Waynesfield Raceway Park. Will it be one of the local heroes, such as Tim Allison, Luke Hall, Mike Dussel, and JR Stewart, or will one of the stars from up north such as Dustin Daggett, Joe Bares, Dain Naida, or Ben Rutan take home the winners prize of $2000?
In addition to the NRA vs. SOD showdown, the Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini-Sprints will be racing for a top prize of $400 to win, the Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks will run for $250, and the JR and Sons Service Center competing for $125.
