HOLLY, Mich. – The BIOBASED USA/Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series will make their final points championship stop on the 2010 calendar on Sept. 11, visiting the pristine confines of the Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, Wisc.

A tight point battle for the championship looms as the winged sprint cars take to the third-mile semi-banked oval, a fitting conclusion to a season of very tight competition.

Dells Raceway Park is among the finest race plants in the U.S., featuring a modern and attractive facility and a family-friendly atmosphere. The event will be the second appearance for the series in the Badger state, following a rousing debut in August at Slinger Speedway before a large and appreciative audience.

Series point leader Troy DeCaire (Tampa, Fla.) will be gunning for the inaugural BIOBASED USA title, scoring his first series win at Salem Speedway on Aug. 14.Trailing DeCaire is veteran racer Jeff Bloom (Bangor, Mich.) who has been a master of consistency in his quest for the 2010 title.

Both racers will face intense competition from a host of racers, including two-time series winner Jimmy McCune (Toledo, Ohio), Jason Blonde (Litchfield, Mich.), Ryan Litt (Lyons, Ont., Canada), Mike Ling (Mt. Brydges, Ont., Canada), Tim Cox (Park City, Ill.), Travis Miniea (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Mike Larrison (Brownsburg, Ind.), Jason Cox (Park City, Ill.), Hank Lower (Angola, Ind.), Sondi Eden (Crawfordsville, Ind.), Kyle Flint (Litchfield, Mich.), and Bobby East (Brownsburg, Ind.).

Fans will be treated to a host of entertaining activities during the event, including a “hands-on” show car, t-shirt and merchandise giveaways, along with driver autograph sessions. One lucky race fan will win a day at the Dirt Track Drivers School to drive a real sprint car.

The program features a full card of practice, time trials, heat races, and a 50-lap feature race. Practice begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, with time trials scheduled for approximately 4 p.m. and racing set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be telecast on a tape-delayed basis to over 90 million U.S. homes. Airdates and other information can be found at www.mustseeracing.com.

The Xtreme Sprint Series features powerful winged sprint cars with 800-plus horsepower and are considered the world’s fastest short track racing machines. Based in Holly, Michigan, the series is completing their third season of competition.

The series is presented by North Carolina biotechnology company BIOBASED USA ((www.biobased.us), a leading manufacturer of Soy Soap and other green products. BIOBASED USA is owned and operated by sprint car entrants Don and Suellen Wilshe.
