Crystal, MI — (May 24th, 2011) — The Lane Automotive MTS Sprint series powered by Allstar Performance will start off its 2011 season at the semi-banked, 3/8-mile Crystal Motor Speedway clay oval in Crystal, MI.
After the original season opener fell to rain at the Millstream Speedway MTS will kick off the season at Crystal Motor Speedway.
This will be the first of two events at crystal with the second event being the MTS series season championship September 17th.
Among the many competitors set to compete at Crystal Motor Speedway Joe Bares won the last event at the track, 2008 champ Mike Galajda looks to add to his feature win list, Rookie drivers Jay Steinebach and Kevin Hawk will be competing for the 2011 rookie of the year. Several other drivers like Nick Landon, Mark Irwin, Ernie Kuehneman, and Chuck Wilson will be fighting for the 2011 MTS championship.
Saturday’s action at Crystal Motor Speedway is set to get under way at 7:30 p.m.
